Thank you for your interest in being a part of the Rio Linda Elverta Christmas Light Parade. Your support is critical to the success of the event and is very much appreciated.
The annual Christmas Light Parade is a favorite tradition downtown that draws thousands of people each year. We need volunteers like you to help make this a successful event.
To volunteer you must be 13 years old or older; some positions must be 18 years or older.
Volunteers will be on their feet for the duration of the event, please be prepared. Also, note that many positions require walking the length of the parade route.
The Rio Linda Elverta Christmas Light Parade is a “rain-or-shine” event; Volunteers should wear warm clothes and be prepared for inclement weather. Volunteers should also have the ability to address situations that may require the involvement of a mature and level-headed adult.
Parade crowds are busy and excited; our volunteers need to be comfortable with crowds as well as cold temperatures.
